PROCUREMENT

Our procurement team is made up of over a 100 years of timber buying experience.  We have been buying timber in North Alabama and East Mississippi for over 20 years.  In order to obtain the most accurate information possible, we use some of the latest technology available, in cruising and mapping your timberland.

In 2008 our procurement organization obtained SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certification and we only use logging contractors that are PLM (Professional Logging Manager) Certified to thin or harvest the timber we purchase.  Our contractors have years of experience and adhere to Best Management Practices.

We are continually striving to assist landowners in making wise and informative decisions when selling their timber.  We can purchase your timber on a lump sum or per ton unit basis.  If you are interested in selling your timber or timberlands please contact our procurement department.
